Dwer swung his Rhea into a low altitude patrol pattern. It seemed the job was done and from all reports had been done fairly well. He couldn't help but feel a little dissatisfied with the caliber of the opposition but one shouldn't expect much from mere pirates. Smirking to himself he set a course for the crash sites of the two VF-11's they'd encountered to confirm Kes's kill.

Quola spent a few minutes pulling all the security footage and important data from the facility databanks before deleting them from records. She would carry the data back to the Damask Rose to assist in the after action reports among other things. Wiping the data afterwards was unnecessary but it paid to be safe, the system facilities would not be impaired and the company still possessed the data should it be needed again.

On the ride back she remained quiet, it would take an hour or two for her to regain her usual sunny disposition. Missions such as this really took that out of her nowadays.

Roderick sighed in relief once everyone had piled into the shuttle and it had taken off.  But he remained somewhat tensed until they were safely back aboard the ship.  It looked like getting back into things might be a little harder than he thought.

Tiffany busied herself with looking over the just freed prisoners and the team.  She then spent almost the entire trip back fretting over Olga.  Other than a quick once over, she mostly ignored the prisoners.

In and out, one and done.  There was no glory, it was just a job.  He disengaged the sneaksuit and stripped off his helmet, revealing the dark nonreflective paint under his eyes.  He checked his pistols and stashed them away before finally settling in for the trip up and letting his emotions wash over him.

He sighed with relief and sadness and satisfaction, content that his actions may have meant fewer deaths, in total, and no deaths at all on his team.  It was refreshing.

So far, so good.
